Polyetheramine 403
Northspec is excited to further compliment our extensive lineup of resins and curing agents with the introduction of our new tri-functional amine Polyetheramine 403
Applications
Polyetheramine 403 is a polyethertriamine with repeating oxypropylene units in the backbone used as an epoxy curing agent as well as anti-sag agent in polyurethanes. Some of the advantages offered are very clear color, low vapor pressure and is completely miscible in a wide variety of solvents including water. It also improves flexibility and strength in your matrix. It can be blended with higher viscosity curing agents to reduce their viscosity or with cycloaliphatics to improve elongation of higher Tg cured resins. Common applications include reinforced composites, casting and encapsulation, adhesives and surface coating applications.
