Overview
Plastics are materials consisting of a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic organic compounds that can be molded into solid objects. Plastics are typically organic polymers of high molecular mass derived from petrochemicals; but recently renewable materials such as polylactic acid from corn or cellulosics have been introduced into the market. Rubber can be considered elastomers, and when compared to plastics, they are more elastic. Synthetic rubber is derived from crude oil, whereas synthetic plastic is made of petroleum and natural gas.
We offer a wide range of additives, binders, fillers, extenders and pigments used in plastics and rubber compounds.
